Dallas, TX – Indie-pop singer Remy Reilly has released her new single “What Do Ya Know,” a feel-good pop-rock anthem about keeping your heart open and falling in love again. This is the first song the emerging Dallas artist has released following her EP Avalanche, released last year, an eclectic five-track project touching on coming-of-age and spanning across genres. “What Do Ya Know” is available to stream and download on all digital platforms worldwide.

“What Do Ya Know” is a joyful celebration of new love and diving in head first. Committed to seeing the good in others, Remy Reilly decides to keep her heart open and fall in love, no matter what happens in previous relationships. Produced by fellow Dallas native Jonathan Tyler, the song creates an infectious euphoria, overflowing from the breezy, carefree pop-rock rhythmicalities to Reilly’s distinctive gentle soul rasp that she’s known for. Beneath the upbeat, lively exterior made to dance along to, “What Do Ya Know” reflects a newfound wisdom, one as blissfully open to possibilities as a happy ending in a film.

Instead of beating herself up for disappointments caused by other people, in “What Do Ya Know,” Remy Reilly reminds herself of the power of authenticity and staying true to yourself after experiencing heartbreak. “I was annoyed that I still saw the good in people after they had done bad things, but then I realized it was a wonderful property to have,” she comments. “There are going to be bad people in your life, but you choose whether you change it and take it as a lesson. I never wanted to change my personality or light way of looking at people just because one person wasn’t kind to me.”

The Texas-based indie-pop artist is constantly evolving in her sound, blending a plethora of musical influences with her poignant, vivid songwriting and soulful vocals. Pushing herself beyond the boundaries of genres, Remy Reilly’s distinctive sound is refreshing and innovative, made unique also by her commitment to authenticity. “What Do Ya Know” marks Reilly’s first single since her 2022 EP Avalanche. Touching on topics like self-love and female empowerment, and drawing from her and her friends’ experiences, Remy Reilly reflects on the trials and tribulations of teenagerhood with innate curiosity and authenticity. She has established herself as an emerging voice in the Dallas music scene, opened for several big-name acts, has been nominated for four Dallas Observer Awards, winning Best New Act, and has received praise from champions such as the Dallas ObserverMusic Connection MagazineElicit Magazine, and Prelude Press.

Equal parts bustling, euphoric, and laid-back, “What Do Ya Know” celebrates the early stages of a new romance and lets go of past experiences that didn’t quite pan out. Olivia Reid Opens Up About Her Healing In New Single “Wounds (Healing)”

Indie-Pop Riser Uncovering Her Emotional Complexity In New Softly Upbeat Track

New York, NY – Rising indie-pop artist Olivia Reid has released her latest single, “Wounds (Healing),” an introspective, ethereal reflection that sees the budding singer-songwriter questioning the layered, complex process of healing. The upbeat, airy track is a glimpse behind the curtain of Reid’s upcoming EP, chasing the release of her single “Runner’s High,” out last month. “Wounds (Healing)” is now available to stream and download on all digital platforms worldwide.

Blending pop with soft electronic rhythms and the smoothness of jazzy elements, “Wounds (Healing)” is both gentle and lively, featuring a laid-back melody whose comforting stamp becomes a springboard for conversational curiosity and self-exploration. In the track, Olivia Reid explores her relationship with anxiety and painful memories: “I recognized how much I had to heal from, but simultaneously feared that truly healing it would leave an absence or a blankness in me,” Reid explains. “When I’m in fight or flight mode long enough, wounds in the form of anxiety or sadness can mistakenly feel like a crucial part of who I am. The wounds feel familiar, so starting the healing process made me feel so much weaker at first.” The song uncovers the strange comfort that comes from romanticizing our own pain out of necessity and the puzzling grief that emerges when we eventually try to move forward. Reid finds herself at a moment of emotional turmoil, when the wounds are finally healing, she’s stuck questioning, ‘isn’t that what I should want?’ Contemplating the hard work of a long-winding road of mending, the vulnerability that emerges from breaking down this internal struggle signals her perseverance to come to terms with her experiences, in a lifelong effort to find gentleness and empathy towards herself.

The song was originally written on guitar, but Reid knew the production needed to somehow reflect the duality of “Wounds (Healing).” So after an initial guitar demo, Reid teamed up with Jae Luna, who she collaborated with on 2019’s “What You Came Here For,” to add warm synth production and new wave percussion to the layered sound. Reid then explored organic sound design textures – citing a particular exploration of custom instruments from AURAS by sound design software company Slate + Ash. These AURAS – described by the creators as “formless and indefinable sound sculptures” – add a unique emotional tug to the pop track. Even still, the song was missing a key sound, leading Reid to recruit longtime collaborator Will Brown on saxophone. The result is a cinematic, explorative track committed to uncovering Reid’s inner world, in its messy, resolutely brave complexity. “Wounds (Healing)” is a puzzle piece in the New York-based singer-songwriter’s awakening, breaking down her most intricate feelings with the hindsight and maturity she gained through the years. “It’s a very introspective project, trying to describe how the journey to healing can feel so foreign and isolating, especially after traumatic experiences,” she comments. “There’s this illusion that some emotions are arcane or inexplicable, but this project is the result of me trying desperately to break those layered emotions down, to truly dissect and unpack them, and turn them into a form a listener could feel.”

Olivia Reid’s production style lands listeners in a visceral sonic and emotional world, blending indie acoustics with exploratory electronic pop soundscapes where melancholy meets joy, and simple meets cinematic. Celebrating the complexity of her identity, her work draws inspiration from artists like Bon Iver, Norah Jones, Sylvan Esso, and Florence + The Machine – who have shaped her lyrical metaphors, eclectic musicality, stage presence, and, most notably, her love of sound design. Much like her influences, Reid’s interests are diversified, spanning areas from screenwriting and neuroscience, to current events, the environment – she’s currently involved with Brian Eno’s charity EarthPercent – and podcasting – she formerly hosted Spotify For Artists and Notable’s Song Start podcast, interviewing artists like Sam Smith, Victoria Monet, Hayley Williams of Paramore.

As an avid collaborator, Olivia Reid has connected with global audiences through collaborations such as “Time is Mine” with Kidswaste and “Above the Clouds” with SŸDE. Her music has been featured in Wonderland, Flaunt Magazine, Ones to Watch, Brooklyn Vegan, The New Yorker, and American Songwriter and has been added to several official Apple Music playlists like Happy Hits, Virtual Hugs, and New Music Daily as well as official Spotify playlists like Happy Pop, Metropolis, Chill Tracks, Sunday Session, Dance Hits, and Golden Hour, garnering her over 50 million streams.

“Wounds (Healing)” is a reminder that you don’t have to carry the weight of the world around with you. It’s okay to start to let go and allow yourself to heal. Stream “Wounds (Healing)” on all digital platforms and keep up to date with Reid by visiting OliviaReid.com or @OliviaReidMusic on Instagram.

Juniper Honey Endure Gut-Wrenching Pain In “Stone Me”

San Luis Obispo, CA – Juniper Honey has released their latest single, “Stone Me,” an alternative rock track that sees the indie rock band throw their hat into the ring of heartbreak songs – sharing a dynamic, emotionally charged performance reminiscent of early to mid-2000s bands. “Stone Me” is available to stream and download on all major digital platforms.

“Stone Me” follows the immediate aftermath of a breakup, grappling with the oceans of the distance between two people through an all-consuming rhythm and passionate vocals. In the track, Juniper Honey harnesses the emotional emptiness that emerges after disappointment and turns it into an exploration of what it means to feel lonely: an ache both dull and twistedly comforting, a staggering mix of desperation, regret, and disbelief. “Stone Me” makes it clear that Juniper Honey knows a thing or two about heartbreak and its inevitability as part of human experiences – how it cannot be avoided, but often simply needs to be embraced, and felt to the brim. Abandoning himself to this acknowledgment, lead singer Jake Hesse opens up about regrets shared by himself and the other band members, turning the bleak nature of heartbreak into an impetuous fervor that has the track glowing with emotional intensity. The puzzling, brazen feelings of “Stone Me” are memorable – standing out against a plethora of heartache repertoires – making the song a vivid, gritty, electric melancholy anthem.

The track was written by Hesse “on a very rainy night sitting on [his] bed in [his] dorm room,” in a fitting moment of pathetic fallacy which saw emotions flooding through with the catastrophic intensity of a calamity, but with the knowledge that he would emerge on the other side. This resulted in lines like, “The weather’s changing slowly / So leave it all behind, babe,” in a plea to forget the disappointment and start fresh. “Stone Me” was produced by Stefan Mac, who is best known for his work with Wallows, Palaye Royale, and Young the Giant, and developed collaboratively with the whole band into a layered sonic and emotional experience.

Jake Hesse (lead vocals, guitar) and Donovan Hess (drums) started playing music together in multiple projects in 2020, performing at shows all over California before their lineup expanded in late 2022, adding Cason LeSueur (guitar) and Josh West (bass), forming what is now Juniper Honey. Drawing inspiration from classic rock and folk-rock from the 60s and 70s, Juniper Honey fuses the hazy whimsicality with bright, energetic elements of alternative rock bands. Eclectic in their themes as they are in their influences, the band touches on the confusions of coming-of-age, romance, and heartbreak, prioritizing vibrant and authentic storytelling at the center of their music projects. After having entirely home-recorded their self-titled debut album which was released earlier this year, Juniper Honey is looking to step into studio-produced music and bring their quintessentially indie breezy, expressive vocals, and animated storytelling to new stages and audiences.

Emerging indie rock outfit Juniper Honey is defining their sound with “Stone Me” and its commitment to feeling your feelings amidst dramatics and disappointment. Raegan Sealy Shares Fiery Single “Care”

Brooklyn, NY – British singer-songwriter Raegan Sealy has released her latest single, “Care,” a bold and emotionally charged ballad exploring the lingering feeling of resentment after trauma. The song features the Gang of Angels, a choir from Nottingham, UK led by Honey Williams. Care” is available now to stream and download on all digital platforms.

The song’s unwavering vigor shines through in its poignant rhythm and staggering vocal performance – which create a powerful, dynamic spectacle, reminding listeners that forgiving and forgetting is not always that simple. Sealy instead shows that embracing the struggle can result in a dynamic, all-encompassing self-awareness. Reclaiming the right to be angry, and finding strength in this anger, “Care” is not hung up, but rather emerges as a moment for Sealy to remember her worth and reflect on how her past hurt does not reflect the person she is. Ever the antiheroine, Sealy shows stunning empathy and grace towards herself while she navigates these contrasting emotions.

“‘Care’ is an anthem for the angry, a ballad for the bitter, a sonnet for the still-not-over-it,” comments Sealy. “With this song, I wanted to challenge the notion that you have to forgive to forget or heal or move on, or that being angry about something makes you weak.” When she finds herself briefly reconnected to past hurt, Sealy does not let this distress leave her paralyzed and emotionally numb. Instead, she harnesses the shock, reinstating her own distance from those who have hurt her. Produced by Robin Buyer, “Care” is an emotional, stirring reminder that healing is a winded, complex process that comes in many forms. For Raegan Sealy, letting herself be angry has healing powers – she is firm and resolute regardless of her emotions. “I want to challenge the idea that being ‘strong’ means not letting things get to you. I think admitting that things get to you and soldiering on regardless is what real strength—and authenticity—looks like. if you’re not feeling things, you’re not facing them.”

Raegan Sealy is committed to the sharp, deep authenticity of her storytelling and prides herself in the complexity of its emotional depth. Outside of music, Sealy is an advocate and teaching artist. She received a Fulbright Scholarship in 2015, one of the most prestigious academic scholarships in the world, along with her MFA from The New School. Continuing to sing and perform poetry, she has opened for Shane Koyczan, Kae Tempest, and Ice T, and delivered the first official TED Talk entirely in rhyming verse in 2019. Now based in Brooklyn, Sealy takes inspiration from a diverse range of artists from the Arctic Monkeys and Lana Del Rey to Yebba, Self Esteem, and Marina – beautifully fusing her musical and writing talents to share her life experiences as a soul-pop singer-songwriter.

Reclaiming the power and anger and bitterness and their place in her healing process, Care” allows us to hold the space to feel these emotions, and celebrates their resilience. Together with the energetic, cinematic contributions of the Gang Of Angels choir, Raegan Sealy shares a perfectly fiery, unapologetically heated track. Folk Riser Albert Kass Releases Blissful Track “Formidable (For Me Dabla)”

Los Angeles, CA – Indie artist Albert Kass has released his latest single, “Formidable (For Me Dabla),” a lighthearted tune meant to evoke a joyful state of being. “Formidable (For Me Dabla)” is available now to stream and download on digital platforms worldwide.

Light, airy, and carefree, “Formidable (For Me Dabla)” encourages the listener to embrace the current moment, and let go of heaviness. Characterized by a quintessential folky melody, Albert Kass’ gentle rasp accompanies the tune to its relaxed, laid-back nature. There is a deeply rooted sense of peace in the song, one that sees the singer-songwriter allowing himself to slow down and enjoy the ride, comforted in the knowledge that he will end up in the right place. Transpiring through “Formidable (For Me Dabla)” is Albert Kass’ penchant for philosophy and whimsical moments of contemplation. As a result, the track is a palate cleanser, equal parts refreshing and meditative. “When I was a kid, my sister and I used to watch scary movies. She always made sure that we watched an episode of Friends afterward, to cleanse us of cinematic trauma.” He comments, “That’s what this song is.”

Softly spoken feelings flow in and out of the song, in a rhythm whose regularity comes close to a reflection in nature – painting an image similar to the crystalline streaming of a river, equal parts dreamy and deep: “I often find myself creating music born of an emotional upwelling from a primarily dark primordial place. Formidable is an exception to that.” This whimsical state of being is infectious, something that Kass encourages listeners to get lost in with lyrics like ‘Come with me / for an hour, formidable,’ joining him in a speckle of bliss whose pure, authentic energy expands beyond the song and into a bubble of comfort and contentment.

Albert Kass developed an emotional link to music early on in his life, recognizing a medium through which he could express his creativity – drawn to darker classical music, which his sister played on piano. This eventually led to original compositions, and, while he never had singing in mind, it ‘sort of happened of its own volition.’

Now, Albert Kass has returned to writing and performing after two careers and two decades. “Formidable (For Me Dabla)” is the most recent single from his debut album Young Old Man, produced in his hometown of Los Angeles by Grammy-nominated producer Billy Mohler (The Jimmy Chamberlin Complex, Lady Gaga, The Airborne Toxic Event). The album is a coming-of-age tale — a culmination of years of original songwriting and a coalescing of sound, style, and aesthetics. Albert Kass: the young old man, both raw with an edge and softened by bittersweet nostalgia; broken-in yet modern, vintage vibes that echo of tomorrow. Previously released singles off the forthcoming album have received praise from American Songwriter, Atwood Magazine, and Kings of A&R.

The joyful energy emitted from “Formidable (For Me Dabla)” is a spokesperson for letting ourselves be in a state of bliss for just a moment longer, basking in its lightness. Stream the single now on digital music platforms worldwide. Phil Firetog Trio & Co. Opens Up About Toxic Relationships In New Track “Cruel”

Long Island, NY – Alternative acoustic rock band Phil Firetog Trio & Co. have released their latest single “Cruel,” a ballad based on vulnerability that touches on the difficulties around feeling neglected and unseen by a partner. “Cruel” is available to stream and download on all digital platforms worldwide.

“Cruel” is a poignant, confessional track that is strikingly honest, zooming in on the realities and crucial details about mental health and abusive relationships, taking control of the frustration arising out of emotional distress caused by a partner. The track is heartbreaking in its transparency, with the chorus lamenting, “I say why don’t you see me/you disregard me,” denouncing the neglect and indifference in the relationship. Its emotional turbulence is frustrating and poignant, leaving a sour taste behind, expressing a heart-wrenching desire to be acknowledged, cared for, and loved by a partner who responds with malicious intentions and unkindness.

The band’s frontman, Phil Firetog, begins the song by stating, “Well, I’m not angry anymore” — here, the track becomes a moment of reflection on the severe strain emotional abuse can take on someone’s mental health, leaving them in a disoriented state of accepting pain and cruelty, and internalizing these feelings. “Overall, ‘Cruel’ is a haunting work that ventures into the deep recesses of the psyche, exploring the emotional turmoil that comes from feeling neglected and unseen in a relationship,” he reveals.

This resigned acceptance shows the inner workings of the vicious cycle of toxicity: begging for a way out while fighting the urge to hide these immense struggles and show confidence. In “Cruel,” the band conveys this complex whirlwind of emotions through their expressive vocals and deeply poignant lyrics, depicting the bleak hopelessness of a neglecting relationship – ultimately, in an immensely emotional spectacle championing the importance of empathy, kindness, and understanding.

Shortly after debuting his solo EP, Portrait Songs, Phil Firetog expanded to a trio that is now Phil Firetog Trio. Formed in 2015, the band consists of Phil Firetog (lead vocalist/guitarist), Johnny “Pots” Potocnik (drummer), and Liam Gordon (bassist). The expansion of the trio to Phil Firetog Trio & Co. is Tye Granger (saxophone) and Gabriel Nekrutman (flute, clarinet, alto sax), and a rotating cast of characters including Brandon Rivas (trombone, trumpet, keys) that Firetog has added to the mix. Entertaining the industry’s toughest critics, Phil Firetog Trio debuted their first EP, Circles, in 2017. Recently, the band released their fan-favorite single, “Fall,” the first track to include the ‘Company’ performing alongside the trio, their holiday single “Long Island Christmas Eve,” and “How A Heart Breaks,” a powerful commemorative track. Taking inspiration from iconic musicians such as Dave Matthews Band, John Butler, and John Mayer, the band continues to display its dynamic and transformative sonic work, whose storytelling treads through difficult themes with startling grace and empathy. The band’s works have recently been praised by NYS Music, The Long Island Sound, and V13.

Giving a voice to those often forced into silence in emotionally abusive relationships, “Cruel” is a reminder of their psychological toll while reflecting on the immense power of recognizing your self-worth, and asserting your identity and voice. You can follow Phil Firetog Trio & Co. on their website PhilFiretogTrio.com and Instagram @PhilFiretogTrio to keep up with their musical journey.

PiPEllA Releases Empowering New Single “Robot Overlord”

Nashville, TN – Soaring cinematic rock artist PiPEllA has released her fiery new pop single, “Robot Overlord,” an impassioned take on identifying as part of the asexual community while fighting for the representation they deserve to strengthen their community. “Robot Overlord” is available now on all streaming platforms worldwide.

The second single from her upcoming project, PiPEllA: The Worlds Traveler, confronts those misconceptions about being part of the asexual community. “Robot Overlord” is PiPEllA’s anthem for standing up to these stereotypes and empowering her community by acknowledging these stigmas. Inspired by an interaction on a dating site, after stating she was asexual, she was questioned if she was a robot, which PiPEllA explains, “I had been called a robot more than once by people outside the Ace spectrum because they couldn’t fathom that a real person might not experience sexual attraction,” when asked about the meaning of the song. The track leaves listeners invigorated and eager for more, similar to watching a movie with a happy ending. The sounds of the drums beating faster, as you would hear from a marching band exhibiting triumph and empowerment, add to the feeling of thrill. Along with the synths and guitar rising gradually in the background, PiPEllA passionately sings lyrics that describe her experience and fans will relate to, such as “my indifferences drive you mad, but soon you’ll understand I am your Robot Overlord.” “Robot Overlord” was written by PiPEllA, produced by Morgan Clae, and mixed by Tommy Sanker.

PiPEllA grew up in Houston, Texas, and started her musical journey at 9 years old. The rising artist is a trilingual polyglot (English, Spanish, Korean) who loves storytelling, and is currently based in Nashville, TN.
