Little Fuss Releases Debut Full-Length Girls At Parties, Share “She’s A Liar” Official Music Video

Art-Pop Outfit Confirmed To Appear At Boston Calling Music Festival

Boston, MA – Indie art-pop outfit Little Fuss have released their debut full-length, Girls At Parties. The album perfectly embodies the dichotomy of their music, with inquisitive lyrics set against expressive arrangements. A collection of 90’s-esque power-pop-twinged tracks that serve as a searing commentary on grief, anxiety, and other internal conflicts while swirling vividly around the misery of the songs’ specific protagonists, the cinematic, ten-chapter concept album is a profoundly emotional psychological journey that explores the perspectives and experiences of nine apprehensive, interconnected characters navigating social gatherings.

Helping Little Fuss launch their most successful year to date, Girls At Parties highlights the creative versatility of Olive Martinez and Cody Von Lehmden, the founding duo behind Little Fuss, and new arrivals Delia Martin and Vitor Oliveira, as artists and storytellers. Zooming in on subjects often swept under the rug, like unrequited love (“Guardian Angel”), women’s experiences in our modern patriarchal society and the lack of equality (“A Modern Olympia”), and negative mental spirals (“She’s A Liar”), Girls At Parties has helped Little Fuss take their introverted perspectives and write songs that make them loud enough to hear. Their outspoken songs have caught the attention of both fans and the media, gathering champions at Billboard, 1883 Magazine, The Big Takeover, Boston Globe, Ones To Watch, and Boston’s NPR station, WBUR, which credited the band with writing “complex female characters into pop songs” in their premiere of “I Want A Secret.” As a result, the band confirmed an appearance at Boston Calling Music Festival and collected a Best New Artist Nomination at the Boston Music Awards.

Alongside the release of the album, the band revealed a new video for the previously released single, “She’s A Liar,” which was inspired by the short story Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman. The story follows a woman who is berated and gaslit by her husband to the point where she begins a downward spiral of stress, anxiety, and the feeling of insanity after interacting with a version of herself within the walls. Both Girls At Parties and the video for “She’s A Liar” and available for streaming now. You can watch Little Fuss continue to thrive in 2023 by following them on Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok at @LittleFussBand.

Savoir Faire Releases Timeless New Single “How’s It Supposed To Feel”

Boston, MA – New England-based songwriter and guitarist, Savoir Faire, has returned with a jazz-inspired and powerful single, “How’s It Supposed To Feel.” Savior Faire wrote and performed the song from the viewpoint of an essential employee working during a national health crisis. “How’s It Supposed To Feel” is available now on all digital platforms.

Setting herself apart from other artists, Savoir Faire had a very specific message to portray in “How’s It Supposed To Feel.” Beautifully bending genres, the track has a vintage jazz sound fused with soft rock. Distinct instrumentals and percussions carry through the track, complementing Savior Faire’s dynamic melodic vocals. When speaking on her motive for the song, she said, “‘How’s It Supposed To Feel’ is a reflection on the unsustainable system that undervalues the people who keep our societies running: nurses, teachers, child care workers, food service, etc. We saw in Covid that we cannot function without them, and yet, our system continues to exploit people in these (traditionally female-occupied) fields.” Raising awareness to important issues, fans are invited into an eye-opening experience when listening to the track and are left feeling educated and empowered.

Savoir Faire has been a passionate music enthusiast for as long as she can remember. Born and raised in New England, she began playing piano and guitar and later gained confidence in her voice when encouraged to sing an original piece at an open mic – she’s been singing ever since. Taking extreme pride in sharing her joy and knowledge of music, Savoir Faire is a music educator of students K-12 and graduate students, preparing future music educators. Inspired by 90s powerhouse female musicians, her music is influenced by Fiona Apple, Jewel, Alanis Morissette, and Sheryl Crow, with additional influence from her Iranian roots, uniquely identified in her guitar riffs and stylings. While she’s been Boston based for over a decade, she acquired her French-inspired stage name, Savoir Faire, after it was recommended to her. The French term means “the ability to act or speak appropriately in social situations,” which is the perfect definition of her music. Holding true to her stage name, she passionately writes her music surrounding the injustice caused by racism, sexism, and corruption of power. Savoir Faire’s 2018 debut album, Machine With A Memoir, was followed by her fan-favorite 2022 releases, “Sweet,” “Alias,” and “Think Twice.” Later formed into a three-track EP, Think Twice became the title of the EP. The EP gained praise and recognition from PopMattersVanyalandBoston HeraldAudiofemme, and She Shreds. Other tracks in Savoir Faire’s discography include 2020 singles “1945” and “Creature of Habit” along with the 2019 singles “Someday: At Revival House Records” and “Diane (At Revival House Records).”

“How’s It Supposed To Feel” is unique, impactful, and inspiring while focusing on prominent issues to which Savoir Faire has brought much-needed attention. Fans can look forward to more music and live performances in the near future. Keep up with Savoir Faire’s journey by following her on Instagram @savoirfairemusic and Spotify.

Shane Garcia Comes Clean About Their “Evil Twin” In New Alt-Pop Single

Dominican-Ecuadorian Singer Recounts The Two-Faced Quality of Their Mania

New York, NY – Shane Garcia has released their new single, “Evil Twin,” an alternative pop track whose production makes it sound bone-chillingly ominous. The song was written from Garcia’s personal experiences with mania, described as episodes that they had no control over; the metaphor of the “evil twin” is used to illustrate the disconnected nature of Garcia’s manic self and the destruction caused to themselves during these episodes. “Evil Twin” is available to stream and download on all major music platforms.

Written by Shane Garcia and co-writer Jesse Fink (Noah Cyrus, Felix Sandman), “Evil Twin” starts off with Garcia waking up after a manic episode and visible scarring from the incident, after which they plead to a higher power with their husky vocals and slow vibrato. “I wrote this song with various experiences in mind from my own benders,” they explain. “I’ve had struggles with mental health, specifically bouts of mania that led to self-destructive decisions. By the end of those long nights and days when I was able to finally pull myself together, I felt like I wasn’t even in control. It was almost as if I was another person, an evil twin.” The track continues to detail Garcia’s unfamiliarity with their ‘twin’ doing things that they can’t remember, like “mixing liquor and E” and “[trashing their] apartment,” after which their twin “[flees] the scene at sunrise.” Garcia “used to be embarrassed about sharing” their experiences, but they “found power in not letting [their] mistakes rule [their] future;” “power through pain” is also cited as a major lyrical theme in their music, which is unmistakably apparent in “Evil Twin.” The lyrics have an air of vulnerability and fear, further building onto the eeriness established by the production. The combination of plot-like lyrics and stylistic choices, like the glitchy, “I got an evil twin” in the chorus, make for a song that sounds like it came straight out of a thriller movie or TV show. Produced by Benzi, “Evil Twin” appeals to listeners looking for goosebumps or a thrilling alt-pop listening experience.

Born and raised in New York, Shane Garcia has been singing for as long as they can remember and learned the ukulele at 17 to help them get over a breakup. Garcia cites MARINA as one of the most influential artists in their songwriting process, stating that her albums had them “in a chokehold” during their teenage years. Other notable artistic influences include Amy Winehouse for her truthful songwriting style, and Kehlani for her branding and sense of style. Their music has been featured on Ones To Watch, Dusty Organ, and StereoFox and has racked up over 1.6 million streams on Spotify.

As a rising queer alt-pop artist, Shane Garcia continues to expand their musical artistry with the release of “Evil Twin” and gives listeners a taste of what to expect from them in the future. Stream “Evil Twin” now on all major music platforms and be sure to check out more of Shane Garcia on their Instagram (@ShaneGarciaaa).

NONĒ SUNSHINE Releases Empowering Call To Arms “Stumble”

Thought-Provoking Single Reminds Listeners To Remain Resilient & Motivated

Denver, CO – NONĒ SUNSHINE – the alternative intersection of geographically split friends Derek Hyde and Thomas Scott Laird – have released “Stumble,” a heartfelt call to arms to remain resilient and persistent, despite the inevitable wear and tear of whatever path you take to your desired outcome.

A reminder that “flying takes its toll while we learn to glide,” “Stumble” is about the journey to anything important to you. The track highlights the importance of self-determination in remaining motivated and encourages listeners to overcome the momentary setbacks that might overshadow your end goal.

Fueled by melodic guitar and poignant lyrics, “Stumble” follows the forward-thinking blueprint of “Beautiful” and “Everything She Said,” previously released by NONĒ SUNSHINE in 2022, while expanding on the band’s vibrant, rock-centered, razor-sharp arena rock sound.

NONĒ SUNSHINE is two decades in the making. Hyde and Laird found an immediate kinship after discovering each other through a musician’s classified ad in Denver’s Westword. Learning that they shared a similar lens in how they viewed the world, the connection between them would blossom into friendship. Although life and distance would ultimately get in the way of the full launch they desired, the pair would continue to write songs together.

As time and technology progressed, the duo opted to leverage the availability of new tools like Logic Pro X, the Universal Audio suite, Soundbetter, and Fiverr, to bring their full musical vision to life. NONĒ SUNSHINE was officially put into motion, and the outcome was as Hyde and Laird had pictured for over 20 years. The pair shared the stage with Sponge for their first live performance in April 2022. Shortly after, they launched their energetic, tongue-in-cheek debut single, S.O.S., mixed by Chris Sheldon (Foo Fighters, Pixies, Garbage) and positioned to record and release their debut LP.

Alongside “Stumble,” their forthcoming LP will feature their previous single, “Everything She Said” and “Beautiful” and is set to be released later this year. “Stumble” is now available for streaming and download on all digital platforms. You can follow NONĒ SUNSHINE on Instagram at @thenonesunshine.

Raegan Sealy Gives New Perspective on Toxic Relationships in “Make ’em Jealous” (ft. The Gang of Angels)

Brooklyn, NY – Raegan Sealy has released her newest single, “Make ‘em Jealous” (ft. The Gang of Angels), an all-female choir from Nottingham, UK led by Honey Williams. This upbeat, indie soul piece breaks away from the typical narrative of a toxic relationship with a satirical spin. “Make ‘em Jealous” is available on all streaming platforms now.

“Make ‘em Jealous” sets out to reframe the cliché of being stuck in a toxic relationship. Fusing Sealy’s soul-pop vocals with an infectious recurring beat, the track shines a light of optimism on the self-delusion that so often keeps us from moving on. Through doing so, “Make ‘em Jealous” reclaims and celebrates that hopeful, second-and-third-chance-giving nature as a form of power – a display of empathy and strength, and a crucial part of the healing process – placing the shame in toxic dynamics back where it should be.

“What is it that we tell ourselves in order to ‘stay?’ How does our ego react to accommodate disrespect? And how hilarious is that, when you think about it? This emotional push and pull in these dynamics is truly often like a Laurel and Hardy sketch,” Sealy says about the new single. Staying in toxic situations because of hope and/or insecurity is something everyone’s experienced at some point in their lives. With lyrics such as, “Everyone wants a sip of my love, but they just get a taste,” Sealy shows off her undeniable confidence and spunk. With production credits from Jay Diggs and Robin Buyer, a feature from the all-female choir, The Gang of Angels, and writing assistance from Honey Williams, this fun track is destined to reach listeners on a deeper, more personal level.

Outside of music, Sealy is an advocate and teaching artist, and received a Fulbright Scholarship in 2015, one of the most prestigious academic scholarships in the world, along with her MFA from The New School. Continuing to sing and perform her own poetry, she has opened for Shane Koyczan, Kae Tempest, and Ice T. She even gave the first official TED Talk entirely in rhyming verse in 2019. Now based in Brooklyn, Sealy has beautifully fused her musical and writing talents to tell her story as a soul-pop singer-songwriter. Taking inspiration from a diverse range of artists from the Arctic Monkeys and Lana Del Rey to Yebba, Self Esteem, and Marina, “Make ‘em Jealous” is the first in a series of singles Sealy will release throughout 2023.

Raegan Sealy’s “Make ‘em Jealous” is sure to leave listeners feeling more confident than ever. The upbeat track, soulful choir, and unique vocals from Sealy come together to create a perfect breakup anthem.
