Wild the Coyote Releases Striking EP, 7 Roses

Alt Country-Rock Artist Drops New Record and Video Inspired by His Hometown

Los Angeles, CA —   Hollywood’s favorite outlaw, Wild the Coyote, just released his latest country-rock EP, 7 Roses. The EP offers a personal look into Coyote’s complex relationship with his hometown and the emotional process of leaving the past behind him. “7 Roses is for the 7 days when I wrote 7 stories about the emotions that carried me from childhood to manhood, which I can now lay to rest,” he explains. 7 Roses is now available for listening on streaming platforms worldwide.

Last spring, Wild the Coyote escaped from Los Angeles to visit his recently widowed mom in the small farm town that he grew up in. “When I got there, it dawned on me to escape even further and write an album, alone in the country, in significant places that I would go to as a kid to get lost. I told myself I wouldn’t go back to Los Angeles until I wrote every song,” he explains his writing process for the EP. “Only 7 days went by before I was headed back with an album written, eagerly booking studio time as I drove into LA. I wrote about my relationship with the boy I used to be, the town I grew up in, and how I’ve held on to him all these years, now as a man chasing a dream in the big city.”

The first track on the EP, “Lately That’s What I Do,” provides a perfect introduction to the whirlwind of emotions expressed throughout the EP. “Lately That’s What I Do” ensnares listeners with its thumping beat and driving bassline as Wild the Coyote sings the melancholic lyrics, “never wanted to let you down, but lately that’s what I do.” The 7-song collection also includes previously released singles, “Silver Round Bullet” and “Under The Weather.” A video for “Under The Weather,” directed by Bryant Hyun, is being released alongside the new EP. 7 Roses draws to a close with “Thank You, Goodbye.” For the final track, Wild the Coyote slows down to process the onslaught of intense emotions and expresses gratitude for all that he has learned before finally saying goodbye to his hometown. The EP documents Wild the Coyote’s struggles of why he left his hometown to move to Los Angeles in the first place and why he has no intention of going back. To complete 7 Roses, Coyote recruited producer Joseph Holiday and guitarist Tito Woods who added another element to the songs and stories that made them that much more powerful and dynamic.

Wild the Coyote moved to Los Angeles from a small farm town on the central coast of California. He started his LA music career after forming the punk-rock band Gunpowder Secrets. After moderate success as a local band, Coyote stepped away from Gunpowder Secrets to pursue his dreams as a solo artist. With a sound reminiscent of Johnny Cash, Wild the Coyote combined his country roots with a punk-rock vibe to create his modern-day outlaw persona. He has opened for Yelawolf on his North American GhettoCowboy tour and played at venues across the country, including the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee and the Slumfest music festival in Nashville. Coyote’s music has received praise from Rolling Stone, Worlds of Country, and has been featured in the hit series, Yellowstone and Mayor of Kingstown.

7 Roses is now available to stream or download on digital music platforms worldwide. Watch the music video for “Under The Weather” on YouTube. Keep up with his music and upcoming tour dates by visiting WildtheCoyote.com.

Wild Giants Release New EP “Hey There, Slow Down, Help Me”

New River, AZ —   Alternative-rock band Wild Giants have just released their latest EP titled Hey There, Slow Down, Help Me. On the EP, Wild Giants jump outside the usual songwriting box of topics like love, hard times, or partying and into the realm of subjects like science fiction, spirituality, and dream-state lyricism. The innovative new release is now available to hear worldwide on digital streaming platforms.

Produced by Dan Parker, the seven-track EP explores these traditionally unconventional topics in a way that emphasizes their sound and image as a group. With Hey There, Slow Down, Help Me, Wild Giants are able to elaborate on and inquire about these subjects while maintaining their grit, engaging melodies, and mature lyricism cohesively. “In a slight departure from my past writing styles, this EP tends to be more extrospective. I wanted to tell the story of how I see the world and the people around me. These songs illustrate my struggles with my health, relationships, government, and religion,” explains lead vocalist and guitarist Austin Walashek. Fans of Wild Giants have already gotten a peek of the EP with the pre-released singles “Souvenir,” “Why Aren’t We Freaking Out?,” and “Sleep Is For the Weak.” These guitar-driven, compelling tracks, and the remaining unreleased songs from Wild Giants, offer bold insight into the band’s future. Songs like “If God Only Knew” and “Hometown” showcase a more vulnerable and raw perspective on personal reflection. Hey There, Slow Down, Help Me takes elements of the rock music we love from the ‘90s and ‘00s and uses a modern voice to give it a fresh, contemporary inflection.

Austin Walashek turned to music as his saving grace when he had to cope with the aftermath of a severe athletic injury. The harrowing event led to the destruction of his dream of becoming an Olympic athlete. He formed Wild Giants in 2018 to expand his creative outlet and dive deeper into music. Wild Giants is a combination of talents between Walashek (vocals, guitar), Lyman Lipke (bass), and Cameron Agan (drums). Wild Giants is defined by their unique formula of lyrical and musical inspirations. Drawing from artists like Nathaniel Rateliff and The Avett Brothers for their lyricism and bands such as Weezer and Kings of Leon for their musicality, this fusion of characteristics helps create the framework for Wild Giants’ distinctive sound and aesthetic.

Wild Giants’ newest release Hey There, Slow Down, Help Me is an alternative rock getaway from reality and into a musical dreamscape. The EP is now available to stream worldwide on digital music platforms. Buster Baer Releases Indie-Pop EP Mock Twang

Retro-Indie Artist Releases Record Inspired By Lockdown Relationship

Los Angeles, CA – Retro-indie pop artist Buster Baer has just released his latest EP, Mock Twang. The four-track EP features Buster Baer’s vintage indie style through various instrumentals that accompany his groovy, silken vocals. Mock Twang is available now for all listeners on streaming platforms worldwide.

Written, recorded, and produced entirely by Buster Baer during the lockdown, Mock Twang features previously released hit singles “Sleepy Baby” and “Get Deeper;” as well as unreleased tracks “Gone Fishin” and “In His Image.” The song “Gone Fishin” was written and partially recorded by Buster Baer in a canoe on a lake in Temecula, CA. The retro, vibey tune features crashing drums with a sweet, acoustic guitar melody and Baer’s unique vocal style. “This EP was all about a relationship that began and ended during quarantine,” explains Baer. “It captures the whole journey from ‘Gone Fishin’s’ seeking hunger for something, to ‘Sleepy Baby’s’ romantic and supportive hope, to ‘Get Deeper’s’ collapse and optimistic desperation, and finally to ‘In His Image’ as I returned to myself and dug back into my own personal path.” Mock Twang shows the entire cycle of Baer’s relationship, from the romantic and gentle ode to love in “Sleepy Baby” to the upbeat and optimistic twist on a sad breakup song with “Get Deeper.” “It’s an illustration of the philosophical perspective on romance and the monotony of the endless cycles of dating, losing ourselves in love, breaking up, and finding ourselves again.”

Hailing from Hermosa Beach, CA, Buster Baer is a uniquely gifted multi-instrumentalist. Baer’s love of music first led him to the drums at age 12, but he did not get serious about music until years later. He moved to New York for college to pursue beat poetry, where he first learned the guitar, and later, the bass guitar. From there, his musical journey took him to New Orleans and San Francisco before landing back in LA. Inspired by Bootsy Collins and The Beatles, Buster Baer aims to push the boundaries of music and “give people a smile or a tear when they need one shaken loose.

Keeping up with the cheeky humor Buster Baer is known for, Mock Twang is a direct play on the name ‘Mark Twain,’ who was also the inspiration for the album art. The four-track EP is just the beginning for Baer. Download or stream Mock Twang now and stay tuned for what Buster Baer has in store for 2022 by following him on Instagram @BusterBaer and on TikTok @BustertheBaer.

Zach Churchill Releases COVID-19 Inspired “Would You Believe Me”

Los Angeles, CA — Singer-songwriter Zach Churchill has released a new single, “Would You Believe Me,” loosely inspired by the COVID-19 pandemic. The song comes from the story of two people who met online during the height of COVID-19 and built an intense, fantasy relationship in order to escape the cruel reality of the world around them. “Would You Believe Me” is now available to hear across streaming platforms worldwide.

“Would You Believe Me” is a soft, acoustic ballad that tells a one-sided narrative about an online relationship created during the pandemic. While the COVID-19 pandemic has been one of the most devastating and difficult times many have ever seen, some aspects of it have been harder for some than others, particularly lockdown and self-isolation. With a 6,000 mile distance between the two lovers described in the song by Churchill, the love seems too good to be true, given they have never met. “‘Would You Believe Me’ is about a deluded, hopeless romantic trying to convince himself that it’s possible to turn a fantasy into a reality,” Churchill explains. The lyrics, accompanied by the plucking of acoustic guitar strings, describe the narrator’s desire to finally meet this person he’s become infatuated with, describing it as the only moment he has to hope for in a “world gone mad.” Within Zach Churchill’s vocals, listeners can hear the desperation and excitement of a man eager to meet the one he loves. Written by Churchill and Julian Coryell, who also produced the track, the song describes a situation that may have been more fantastical before 2020, but most people can now sympathize with.

California-native Zach Churchill breathes a refreshing sense of vulnerability and storytelling with his songs to the singer-songwriter scene. He discovered his musical interests when he started singing as a child and picked up the acoustic guitar at age 13. A few years passed, and Churchill began his songwriting journey while still in his teens. His influences range from Elton John to Radiohead to Chet Baker, both musically and vocally. Additionally, Churchill has studied vocal performance and music industry studies, earning a degree in the latter from CSUN. “Would You Believe Me” is the second single from his upcoming album, “Heartbreak and Hope,” due early next year.

The new single “Would You Believe Me” tells a modern-day love story full of distance, heartbreak, and false hope in a seemingly unrealistic relationship. Zach Churchill delicately twists a combination of a timely, relatable current event with a tale as old as time: a strained love. “Would You Believe Me” is now available to stream worldwide. To keep up with Zach Churchill and his music to come, follow him on Instagram @zachchurchillmusic or visit ZachChurchillMusic.com.

sautereau Releases Music Video for New Single, “Conversation Hearts”

New York-based singer-songwriter sautereaupreviously known under the name Cee, has just released the new music video for her single, “Conversation Hearts.” The video displays the glass-half-full perspective she had during the world’s trying times this past year. “Conversation Hearts” has a lighthearted undertone of emotions evoked by sautereau and can now be watched worldwide on YouTube.

sautereau’s music video for “Conversation Hearts” conjures up the nostalgic feelings she experienced while isolated during the pandemic. The elegance and emotion of the video lie within its wistful simplicity: vignettes of sautereau playing guitar and trying to focus on everyday tasks while falling into the repetition of her daily routine. “This song is about the bittersweet realization of how fast time slipped by, while also feeling like it suddenly stopped,” sautereau explains. “It’s about the frustration of not being able to do what we should have been able to do, but hopefully still acknowledge the good memories made with the few special people we were lucky to have around.” She portrays that longing feeling of interaction and wanting to spend time with the world while dealing with the loneliness of the past year. Although time seems to blend together, sautereau reminds us that there’s beauty in the little everyday tasks, and spending time with yourself while listening to what your heart wants can be therapeutic.  Written by sautereau, the song has elements of bass, synth, and drums, all performed by Toby May, while she plays the guitar.

Chloé Sautereau, known musically as sautereau, was born and raised in Switzerland and began her musical endeavors at the age of eight when she first picked up a guitar. She played and learned sporadically until age 13, when she paired the skill with a newfound passion: songwriting. “I always had a passion for writing from poems to prose,” she describes. “Storytelling was always there, and I think that’s around the time I put those together and fell in love with it.” Not long after,  she recorded her first song at 15, turning a spark into a flame and drawing her closer to the career path she was destined for. Her inspirations are various and widespread, crediting artists such as Finneas, Joni Mitchell, and Jessie Reyez. The one consistency between her idols is the strong sense of storytelling, and captivating songwriting abilities shared between the group, which shines through in her work on “Conversation Hearts.”

sautereau is an authentic singer-songwriter with a passion for articulating emotions and stories, which she displays clearly with her new video for “Conversation Hearts.” The nostalgia and honest emotion conveyed through her enthralling songwriting are what make her stand out as an artist. The music video for “Conversation Hearts” can be seen online on YouTube now. Be sure to check out sautereau on Instagram (@iamsautereau) to keep up with her exciting journey ahead.

Buster Baer Celebrates Quiet Intimacy in “Sleepy Baby”

Los Angeles, CA — Indie-pop artist Buster Baer has just released a new song, “Sleepy Baby.” The track serves as a sweet little ode to the sleepiest of lovers with gentle, romantic lyrics, an upbeat melody, and a swinging beat. The tune matches Baer’s vintage style perfectly, creating an aural experience that will leave his audience moving and grooving to the warmth of his music. “Sleepy Baby” is a reminder from Buster Baer that it’s ok to not be ‘on’ all of the time and to get some sleep. The track is now available on digital music platforms worldwide.

“Sleepy Baby” is more than just a cute little diddy. Buster Baer describes his inspiration for the song: “Almost every single romantic partner I’ve had seems to have picked up some weird guilt about falling asleep while we’re hanging out. I don’t know who made them feel like they had to be a performing monkey, but having a person feel comfortable enough to sleep around you is an extremely intimate and beautiful thing.” Baer, who produced the track and played all the instruments himself, expands, “I just wanted to provide some evidence to the collective unconscious that there are lovers who won’t expect you to deny your biological necessities for their egos, and I did it by producing huge, glorious cascades of violins and trumpets, which I didn’t know how to play prior to recording.”

Inspired by Bootsy Collins and The Beatles, Buster Baer aims to push the boundaries of music and “give people a smile or a tear when they need one shaken loose.”

“Sleepy Baby” is part of Buster Baer’s forthcoming EP, Mock Twang, and is now available for listening on streaming platforms worldwide. Follow Buster Baer on Instagram @BusterBaer and stay tuned for Mock Twang, an EP that chronicles bits and pieces of his last relationship.

Becoming Young Drops Reimagined Version of “Stand Down”

Nashville, TN – Nashville-based indie-pop artist, Brandon Calano, who performs under the alias Becoming Young, teamed up with co-writer Jake Puliti and producer Austin Shawn to release a fan-favorite song with new energy. Calano debuted his single, “Stand Down” in May of this year and has decided to give the song another life through a second rendition of “Stand Down (Reimagined).” The single is available to download and stream on all platforms.

Becoming Young stated that “Stand Down” is a song with two sides. “[The song] is a calling to find the courage to be vulnerable and let someone into your life,” explains Calano. Ryan Hadlock (The Lumineers, Vance Joy), who produced the first rendition of “Stand Down,” highlighted the most vulnerable layers of the song. However, vulnerability takes courage and something bold from within the heart; that’s where Austin Shawn came in. Calano and Shawn, his long-time producer, spent many late nights trying to bring forth the bold duality hidden under the surface of “Stand Down.” Listeners can finally hear the newest version of the song that exemplifies the strength and power of transparency in the light of vulnerable love. Drawing inspiration from Bastille, this indie-pop track is an electrifying perspective of the same words he had written. “I believe it now more fully captures the essence of how the song has always felt in my heart. I hope that “Stand Down (Reimagined)” gives you the courage to tell that special person in your life how you really feel.”

Becoming Young is a name that represents the journey to let go of everything we are not, so we can become who we are meant to be all along. The Colorado native moved to Nashville in 2019 to pursue music and has since been hailed by Forbes as an artist “brimming with intrigue, angst, and heartbreak.” By fusing pop, rock, and narrative singer-songwriter genres, Becoming Young has set a standard for authenticity and swagger. The pop artist released his first album, Feeling Single, in September 2020. The eight songs have received algorithmic and editorial support, catapulting him well past nine million global streams.

While touring through Seattle, Calano met with producer Ryan Hadlock, and the pair quickly began working on several cuts for Becoming Young’s 2021 record, The Songs I Wrote You. This haunting collection, which Calano describes as his most honest offering yet, has captivated audiences across the country. His refreshingly restless perspective has placed Becoming Young on an electric incline that won’t be stopping anytime soon.

Kenneth Cash is Running Out of “Patience” in New Single

AKTHESAVIOR Manages R&B Savant as He Releases New Music

Up and coming R&B maverick Kenneth Cash has released his latest single, “Patience.”  The AKTHESAVIOR managed artist delivers a personal reflection of what it means to hit your limit of patience in a relationship. “It’s a vicious situation, one that leads to resentment and forces you to ask, ‘what’s wrong with me?’ It just made me realize there’s a fine line between being patient and enabling damaging behavior,” Cash explains. Impeccable vocals and deliberate production merge for a more than gratifying listening experience and set the stage for a breakout moment for the musician. “Patience” is available to stream on all platforms now worldwide.

Following the release of singles “In Effect” and “The Right Place,” Kenneth Cash delivers another song that demonstrates his ability to turn everyday emotional nuance into R&B hits. “Patience” is a testament to Cash’s artistry; it is entirely produced, recorded, written, and mixed by Cash himself, and effortlessly combines elements of hip hop and R&B into one mesmerizing track. His innate gift is what caught the ear of AKTHESAVIOR, who decided to take on the musical savant and manage what is lining up to be a fruitful career. “Working with Kenneth Cash has been a breath of fresh air for me; not only is he talented and super musically inclined, but he’s also a humble and kind dude as well. His music is truly undeniable,” AKTHESAVIOR says. A self-proclaimed expressionist, Cash is also an unwitting perfectionist. “Patience” underwent some critical changes before its release, “The original version that I thought I’d be releasing stayed in my notes for about two years. The song was simple and had no changes in the beat for the entirety of the track, but I had some of my most powerful vocals on top of it. So I made a live version for the song, adding beat switches and little background sounds to make it feel like it was live… I’m happy with what I’ve got. All it took was a little bit of ‘patience.’”

The Brooklyn native initially used music as a form of escape from the harsh realities of life. After his grandfather, who was also his musical inspiration,  passed away and his family moved to Dallas, Cash found himself disengaged from almost everyone and everything. He spent hours after school making beats, often staying up until the next day without realizing it. This growing obsession, along with his depression, led to further isolation. It proved to be a gift and a curse, as he was able to use his hardships in life to his advantage. Diving headfirst into creating the only art that gave him peace, he pulled inspiration from artists such as Kanye West, Tame Impala, Radiohead, Steve Lacy, Pharrell Williams, and King Krule. After years of fine-tuning what started as therapy,  Cash discovered his unique voice and style of music; the one-man show brings together the bounce and punchiness of R&B with the raw and unconventional flavor of alternative music.

“Patience” is now available on all streaming platforms worldwide. Find more of Kenneth Cash on Instagram @kenncash, and stay tuned for more music from Kenneth Cash soon.

Wild The Coyote Releases Rugged New Single, “Under The Weather”

Los Angeles, CA — Wild the Coyote has released his newest single, “Under The Weather,” from his upcoming EP, 7 Roses. The EP’s second song revives the heavy and powerful experience that Coyote brings to the country music world. “Under The Weather” is available now to stream and download on all streaming platforms worldwide.

“Under The Weather” pairs strong guitars and emphatic vocals to create a unique sound only Wild the Coyote can deliver. The western, outlaw-country track adds rock, alternative, and blues elements to give the record its distinctive edge. Produced by Joseph Holiday and engineered by Tito Woods, the song covers a harrowing topic that shook Wild the Coyote to the core. “Under The Weather” follows the story of a man trying his best to keep it together for his family, but can’t shake the troubles of drugs and alcohol that are tearing his family apart. “I had never been inspired to write a song the way that I was with ‘Under the Weather,’ and in a way, I’m not too proud of that,” says Coyote. Listeners can feel the emotion radiating from the lyrics through his powerful storytelling. “With this song, I was at the wrong place at the wrong time and witnessed a devastating argument between family over drugs and alcohol destroying their relationship,” says Coyote. “It was painful to see the destruction those two poisons can have on a relationship, especially when there are kids in the picture. I’ve had my share of troubled run-ins with alcohol, so I went and wrote a song that hurt me to the core.” His ability to bring an immersive story to life through music has led him to create a unique and original listening experience.

Wild the Coyote’s music career began shortly after moving to Hollywood in 2013. With the new change of scenery came the formation of his punk rock group, Gunpowder Secrets. His ability to experiment with his own unique sound of outlaw-country has led him to career highlight opportunities such as opening for Yelawolf on his North American GhettoCowboy tour and receiving praise from Rolling Stone. He found even more success by being featured in the hit series Yellowstone and playing at venues across the country, including the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee and the Slumfest music festival in Nashville.

“Under The Weather” is available now on all streaming platforms. Find more from Wild the Coyote at WildTheCoyote.com or on Instagram @wildthecoyote. Be on the lookout for more Wild the Coyote in the upcoming EP, 7 Roses.
