XOHA Releases Moving Debut Single “Outsider”

Los Angeles, CA — New to the scene, pop singer XOHA has released her debut single “Outsider.” The heartfelt song delivers a sincere message about the trials and tribulations of dealing with inequality of all types in the United States. XOHA pairs elements of melodic piano and bass to set the serious tone of the song. “Outsider” is now available to stream on digital music platforms worldwide.

In her debut single, XOHA sings about being an “Outsider” in experiences throughout her life while also considering the inequalities and hardships others have had to face in their own lives. “‘Outsider’ is a passion project intended to shed light on the inequitable opportunities in America, despite the glamourized ideology of the American Dream,” XOHA reveals about the track. In the song, XOHA gets candid on sensitive topics such as racism, the gender pay gap, and her first-person perspective of experiencing discrimination. “So many hardworking individuals are born into minority communities or come to America with the simple hope of creating a better future for themselves. Instead, they face unfair hardships embedded within institutions built on the foundations of prejudiced practices.” Even with sensitive, sometimes uncomfortable topics, XOHA and producer Chad Bamford manage to create a soft, easy-listening song for reflecting on these topics and their status in American society.

Throughout her entire life, XOHA has always stood out musically. She began singing at age five, then moved on to playing guitar and piano at ages eight and ten, respectively. In addition to her array of musical talents developing, she also grew a passion for writing and poetry, which would ultimately combine beautifully with her musicality. Her musical influences come from far and wide, from the theatrical performances she participated in growing up to windows-down rides in the car with her dad playing 80’s rock music. However, she credits Billie Eilish as being one of her biggest current influences: “As far as songwriting goes, Billie Eilish has been a big influence,” states XOHA. “She and Finneas really know how to put ideas together and create sequences of words that flow while maintaining a good melody.”

“Outsider” makes a powerful statement as a debut single for XOHA, immediately displaying her beliefs and what she stands for, both as an artist and a person. The message behind the lyrics is a relevant, honest portrayal of how American society is both viewed and experienced. High Street Gives Fans a “Light of Hope”

Hard Rock Band Plays to the Soul of the Rock Community

High Street has released “Light of Hope,” a new single that makes the daring choice to confront the demons that many people face on their journey to inner peace. The emotional and inspiring ballad displays the band’s ability to deliver music outside of hard rock and slow things down both rhythmically and affectionately.  “Light of Hope,” which takes careful inspiration from Velvet Revolver, is the final single before their EP, Revival, is released and is now available on digital music platforms worldwide.

As the band continues along the Pacific West coast for their Revival tour, they’re gifting audiences with another glimpse of the forthcoming EP. With “Light of Hope,” High Street is redefining the culture and expanding the limits to which rock music can be a tool for healing. It’s no secret that the genre has been its own mode of therapy for generations. Listeners who long to release unwanted energy will simply do so through the sonic aggressions of rock that feel synonymous with their own emotions. In the age of mental health awareness, this phenomenon of catharsis is even more relevant, and High Street knows it. The context of “Light of Hope” is very poignantly described by High Street as a song “written from the perspective of someone who has eventually built the resolve to overcome their trauma and is working day by day toward finding ‘home’ in their quest, whatever form that may be.” It is a message rock fans can relate to, especially those finding a home in the culture of rock that accepts them for who they are. High Street invites their fans and listeners to continue to find their inner peace through the hopeful guitar riffs and introspective lyrics of “Light of Hope.”

High Street got its roots in lead guitarist Erik Findling’s Chicago attic. The young middle-schooler at the time – who first picked up a guitar at the age of four – enlisted his brother, Kurt, to assemble a group with some of their musically-inclined classmates. Their attic rehearsal space looked out onto the corner of High Street, inspiring the band’s name. While still in junior high, High Street’s musical prowess surpassed some of the city’s most seasoned music veterans. It allowed them to play at renowned Chicago venues such as The Double Door, Hard Rock Café, and Subterranean. As the band garnered more success, Findling began to compose original music for the group. Soon after, the band collaborated and recorded albums with acclaimed producer Sean O’Keefe, best known for his work with Fall Out Boy. When it came time for the members to go off to college, the band parted ways. With this new development, Findling decided to pursue solo work, exploring different genres, and playing at a multitude of different venues. Once he moved back to Los Angeles, he felt inspired to start the band back up again. The band’s rebirth now includes the sensational vocals of Noxigen, Nic Metaxas on bass, and  Brando Nikales on drums. Each member of the four-piece outfit brings a fresh new take on the hard rock genre. Using his background in Indian classical music, Noxigen delivers awe-inspiring vocals that fuse perfectly with Nikales’s energetic drumming and Findling’s chill-inducing guitar and Metaxas’s rhythmic bass.

“Light of Hope” is an impelling testament to the artistic journey High Street has committed to. Their music is not only a reflection of their own pasts, but the future of the rock music they intend to cultivate through the power of poetic transparency.

Cam M. Releases Powerful Single, “burn <3”

Dark-Pop Artist Burns Bridges While Staying True to Herself

Boston, MA – Rising dark-pop artist, Cam M. has just released her newest single, “burn <3.” The compelling track is about not giving the satisfaction of intimacy to someone who doesn’t deserve it. While drawing influence from artists like Billie Eilish and Melanie Martinez, Cam M. explores her lyricism, production style, and melodic organization to create her own unique mark on the dark-pop genre. “burn <3” is now available to download and stream on digital music platforms worldwide.

When writing “burn <3,” Cam M. wanted to feel powerful against people in her life who were trying to use her emotions and her body against her. Cam prides herself on her proven skilled lyricism. Even if a song has a clear and concise message, she likes to purposefully write her lyrics with more complexity to fit her personal aesthetic. The message Cam conveys in “burn <3” is that you should not allow yourself to give more than you receive in a relationship, since that will lead to an unhealthy balance in your life. “There are multiple rather personal stories behind this song, but I’ve essentially developed too much pride and self-respect to romantically involve myself with people who cannot prove they deserve it,” Cam shares. “burn <3” is a powerful song that is simultaneously catchy and complex. Pain and anger can be heard in Cam’s voice as she ascends into the final verse leading to the outro. Many people have been burned by someone in their past, which is why this single has such a relatable edge that listeners everywhere can nod their heads to. The track was produced by Mario W. Garraffo and mixed & mastered by Squillante Productions.

Cam M. has been singing for as long as she can remember. “I can’t recall a time in which I wasn’t obsessed with singing every chance I got, whether that was in chorus, band, musical theatre, or alone in my bedroom.” It wasn’t until she reached fifth grade that she realized her passion and talent for writing music. It started as poetry and then transformed into lyrics for songs. The final stage of her musical journey was uncovering her love for the production side of the music-making process. During her sophomore year of high school, she wrote a song alongside an amateur producer in the senior class, leading to her recording her music with producers from a nearby college. She is now recording and producing with multiple producers in and outside of the country. The self-aware singer-songwriter’s style resembles that of Melanie Martinez, Billie Eilish, and Clairo, to name a few. At the same time, Cam is making a dominant name for herself with her unique storytelling and vocal melodies.

In the past, Cam M. has written songs about being hurt by others, but with “burn <3,” she is channeling her resentment into creating music that makes her feel more powerful than damaged. Cam wants listeners to understand the authenticity of her lyrics and experience how capable you can truly be when you let go of what’s been holding you back. Download or stream “burn <3” on all digital music platforms now, and follow Cam M.’s journey on her website at CamM-Music.com, Instagram @_cammmusic, and TikTok @camm.musicc.

Dawson Fuss Unveils Debut EP, edge of adolescence

Indie-Pop Artist Shares a Story of Maturation and Self-Acceptance

Fast-rising indie-pop artist, Dawson Fuss has just released his dynamic, self-affirming EP, edge of adolescence. The seven-track debut is a testament to Dawson’s songwriting and ability to channel his most vulnerable moments into cathartic anthems. The lyrics of each song paint vivid illustrations of intimate and compelling moments in his life. It is this raw honesty that connects with listeners and leaves them feeling understood and appreciated. edge of adolescence is now available to stream and download on digital platforms worldwide.

edge of adolescence channels that awkward stage of no longer being a child, but not quite an adult. Through hypnotizing melodies layered over a diverse array of instrumental arrangements, and his signature silken vocals, Dawson Fuss proves that it’s possible to create art that is deeply personal and equally relatable. There are three new songs on the EP:  “Real Boys Don’t Cry,” “Confused,” and “Never Really Knew.” The collection of anthems, ballads, and bops aptly convey the story of young-adulthood that inspires, captivates, and soothes, never missing a beat. “Never Really Knew” touches on the loss of a friend to suicide and how grief is incredibly nuanced and even harder to process when you’re so young. “My brain was ignorant of the severity of what I went through, so I held off any kind of grief work,” Dawson explains. After eventually speaking with a counselor about what I had gone through and my lack of acceptance of it, she recommended I try writing a song about it to begin the processing stage of grief. Once my pencil touched the paper, my thoughts floated from my subconscious to the scratch of the pencil. It was one of the fastest songs I wrote. Another standout track is “Confused.” The upbeat tune is about feeling just that: confused. “I wrote it right after I broke up with my ex, about feeling complete confusion during the relationship about whether or not it was what I wanted. Being my first real relationship, I felt some kind of obligation to feel a certain way about my partner that didn’t come naturally, so it put me in this weird position where I did like him, but I was stretching my emotions to a place where the faulty emotions dominated the real ones.” From start to finish, edge of adolescence is a rollercoaster of emotionality that serves as an in-depth look into a stage of life that is often overlooked.

In the short time that Dawson Fuss has been releasing music, he’s already enraptured audiences and garnered praise from a number of publications including The Santa Barbara Independent, Atwood Magazine, Indiewavves, Outloud Culture!, Pop Wrapped, and more. The Santa Barbara Independent beamed that “he carries himself as if he were in his twenties, and he has the work ethic and introspection to show for it.” Growing up in Santa Barbara, Dawson began starring in local musical productions and other theatre programs at the early age of five. This inspired him to pursue a music career where he could transform emotions into lyrics through the art of songwriting. Since then, his passion for music has only continued to grow, performing at his school in two choirs and most recently placing in the top-three local competition Teen Star Santa Barbara, which American Idol’s Randy Jackson judged. When Dawson isn’t creating music, he’s exploring other art mediums that he’s passionate about, including photography and cinematography.

edge of adolescence is a body of work that captures not only Dawson’s  personal journey with growth and maturation, but the journeys of many others who will be able to connect and vibe with each of these songs. The EP is available to stream and download on digital platforms worldwide. Keep up with Dawson’s journey via his website, Instagram or  TikTok.

Nolo Grace Unveils Intimate Single, “Don’t Wanna Go Home”

Alt-Pop Artist Discusses the Turning Point in Her Career on New Release

Rising alt-pop musician Nolo Grace has released her new single, “Don’t Wanna Go Home.” Co-written with Natalie Elaine Bortolotti and produced alongside Martin Wave and BlakeQuake, the song serves as the turning point for her love life and her love of music. “Don’t Wanna Go Home” is now available on every digital streaming platform.

Written about the evening Nolo Grace met her husband and co-producer Martin Wave, “Don’t Wanna Go Home,” is a love letter in every sense. “The song is inspired by the night I started talking to my now-husband. We were out together with mutual friends, and we started talking and didn’t want the night to end. The song captures the feeling of awkwardness, uncertainty, and excitement I felt that night.” Three months later, the couple decided to get married as Los Angeles went on lockdown.

A surreal energy encapsulates “Don’t Wanna Go Home,” as Grace displays raw vulnerability with lyrics like, “It’s hard to connect when I’m afraid to lose.” Sleek production fused with elements of rock, R&B and hip-hop carry her voice like an ethereal tide across an ocean of emotionality.

The single marks the start of a new stage of life for Nolo Grace, whose personal journey was filled with dark memories of growing up the child of two conservative Korean parents who spoke very little English and held her to high standards. The violence at home, and her mother’s struggles with schizophrenia and other mental health issues, fueled a negative vision of the world and herself. At the age of 14, Nolo Grace received a scholarship to a boarding school and left home. She equated safety and stability with hard work, which turned into workaholism. After touring around the world singing in choirs and attending the Tanglewood Institute for voice, she decided to leave music for a more emotionally and materially secure path. She received two Ivy League degrees and started her career in international development, consulting for former presidents of African countries, and then eventually ended up in the business world working on Wall Street and as a corporate executive. The struggles with negative self-vision and inability to live up to impossible standards became a vicious cycle that permeated every aspect of her life. After leaving her corporate career behind, Nolo Grace became nomadic and ultimately settled in LA, dedicating herself to personal and spiritual development. She re-established her relationship with music and herself, discovered music production, and found love. Her outer world started to mirror the developments from inner work.

During the pandemic, a dark time in history, she found the light in creating a new chapter of her life as an artist. “‘Don’t Wanna Go Home’ is meaningful because it played a big role in me deciding to pursue a career as an artist. It captures the sonics and the spirit of this phase of my musical journey,” she describes.

Earlier this year, Nolo Grace made her debut with the single “Wake Up,” featuring Sean Kingston, followed by “Miss Perfect.”  This third single, “Don’t Wanna Go Home,” continues the empowering saga of Nolo Grace and is now available on digital streaming platforms. Keep up with Nolo Grace on Instagram or on her website at NoloGrace.com.

Syd Carter West Drops Southern Rock Anthem “The Ugly Truth”

Canadian Songstress Delivers Gripping New Single

Syd Carter West has released her newest single, “The Ugly Truth.” Her unique voice and signature sound are a flawless combination of southern rock, Americana, and blues-rock. “The Ugly Truth” is an anthemic track about self-acceptance; no one is perfect, and the ugly truth is more freeing than a pretty lie.  “I am my own person and my own individual whether you accept it or not. I went through hell trying to change myself, and it’s not worth it. I would rather be ridiculously weird than normal,” West explains.  “The Ugly Truth” is now available on digital music platforms worldwide.

At the core of each of Syd Carter West’s songs is a message of empowerment, authenticity, and vulnerability; “The Ugly Truth” is a perfect example of that. Beginning with a heavy electric guitar riff accompanied by a daunting backbeat, the compelling single kicks off without hesitation. West’s deep, raw vocals grip you instantly, mirroring the poignant message behind the track. “‘The Ugly Truth’ is my confession that reveals my inner demons, flaws, mistakes, and that I’m unapologetically embracing my truth,” she shares. The spellbinding energy of the song leaves listeners feeling more confident about themselves and feeling powerful enough to stand up for who they are. “This song is speaking to those who ever doubted, misunderstood, judged, or belittled me, by letting them know that I’m done with pretending to be someone I’m not and trying to meet their expectations on who I should be,” West adds. Intricately woven lyrics paint a picture of personal fulfillment and freedom finally coming to fruition. “Lyrics are the gateway into an artist’s life and share special moments that others can relate to, and in order for the meaning to be clearly revealed, we as singers must convey that through clear words and emotions,” she says.

The Vancouver-based singer-songwriter has been singing since before she could talk. At age two, she was known to hum along to the radio in perfect pitch. At age six, she started contemporary voice lessons; wrote her first lyrics at age seven, and by age twelve, she dove into classical/opera voice training. She participated in voice competitions and studied music theory through The Royal Conservatory of Music, and at age nineteen decided to focus more on songwriting and singing contemporary music. “I feel like music is what I was meant to pursue. It’s my way of expressing myself in a safe space,” West explains. Musical legends such as Chris Stapleton, Led Zeppelin, and Freddie Mercury have played major roles in influencing her writing and performance style. She admires the way Chris Stapleton sings effortlessly and powerfully, as well as Freddie Mercury’s stage presence. Audiences recognize how these influences have translated into how Syd Carter West tells her stories, both on paper and on stage.

“This is me reclaiming my worth and confidently showing my authentic self with no more fear,” she adds. “The Ugly Truth” is now available on digital music platforms worldwide. You can follow the further adventures of Syd Carter West on Instagram, Facebook, and Spotify.

Buster Baer Releases Uplifting New Single “Get Deeper”

Los Angeles, CA – Up and coming retro-indie artist, Buster Baer, has released his new single, “Get Deeper” from his upcoming EP Mock Twang. The upbeat track is a break-up song about two people who still love each other, but need to take time to focus on loving themselves first. “Get Deeper” is now available to download and stream on digital music platforms worldwide.

Unlike traditional slow, sad breakup songs, “Get Deeper” carries an uplifting rhythm and flow. Instead of dwelling on the hardships of his break-up, Buster Baer uses an optimistic melody accompanied by a funky bass to focus on what his relationship would look like if the couple took a necessary break to better themselves. “I wrote ‘Get Deeper’ after breaking up with a girl who was in a negative mental health space,” Baer shares. “It sort of graduated to being about a celebration of spirituality in general, which makes me laugh because spirituality is usually so calm and centered. I thought it’d be fun to get a little excited about getting mellow, to get fired up to calm down, to get hot and bothered about cooling off and taking it easy.” The eloquent lyrics reveal the saddening truth Baer faces when he realizes that to move forward, he must take a break. “I think I love you enough to leave you for your own sake” is a bittersweet line in the song that perfectly summarizes the essence of this story. “Get Deeper” resembles indie-soul with a touch of funk, taking inspiration from early-Beatles and Bootsy Collins to modern-day influences like Chiefly, Tame Impala, and Mac Demarco. Baer’s musical style can be described as retro-indie with a lot of early 60’s soul influence. His music has been compared to The Doors, Roy Orbison, and the Mile High Club, to name a few.

At age 12, Buster Baer started playing drums in a mom-and-pop shop, where he now teaches. He is an expert bass player and has experimented with piano, flute, violin, accordion, autoharp, and trumpet. Growing up, he always strived to stand out from the crowd. He searched to pursue something that he didn’t see anyone else around him doing, which led to him attending Clown School. “I learned so much about myself and had to face so many demons that I wound up realizing I was an alcoholic,” Baer reveals about taking clown classes. Due to this realization, his life has become sober, and he started teaching others everything he knows about music and his journey. When he’s not focused on his music, Baer focuses his energy on writing poetry and has even published two poetry books. His creative writing skills and ability to interpret and convey himself spiritually are illustrated in his lyrics, and this talent is evident in his new single, “Get Deeper.”

His inspiring story and authentic spirit bring a whole new meaning to his music and encourage listeners to be better to themselves. Keep an eye out for Buster’s upcoming EP Mock Twang and download or stream “Get Deeper” on all music platforms now. Mia Morris Releases Edgy New Anthem “Melodramatic”

17-year-old alternative rock artist Mia Morris just released her fierce new single, “Melodramatic.” With thrilling lyrics and vivid storytelling, Mia Morris displays her vast array of musical talent in the song. Every instrument heard on the track was played by none other than Morris as she showcases her vocal range and styling. “Melodramatic” is available to download and stream on all digital platforms worldwide.

“Melodramatic” is the ultimate edgy anthem that resonates across all demographics. Kaleb Jones and Smith Curry aided Morris in the writing process. However, Morris played, recorded, and mixed the song herself. Morris incorporates a modern spin on the more traditional sounds of alternative, ska, and punk rock when writing her own music. Her take can be heard in “Melodramatic,” with a distorted electric guitar paired with clever chord progressions and playful, somewhat coarsely surprising lyrics. “The song ‘Melodramatic’ comes down to a simple message,” says Morris about the inspiration for the song. “Life is short, so don’t feed the drama.” It can be easy to fall into the gossip that surrounds us, but Mia Morris reminds us to check our egos at the door. The bridge of the song adds a striking break in the middle of the amped-up pop-punk flow. The gentle, youthful sound of a ukulele backdrops Morris’s toned-down voice, which sounds as if it were coming out of a payphone. This short visitation to calmness is interrupted by an eruption of drums and guitar which dive into the robust chorus.

Mia Morris is a rock inspiration wearing multiple hats as a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. By age 12, she had a series of viral drum videos on her YouTube channel and amassed over five million views between them. To further pursue her dreams of being in the music industry, her family moved to Nashville, where she backed up over 120 artists as a side-woman in 2019. Since then, she started writing and recording her own music, releasing over 40 songs, almost all mixed and produced by herself. As Morris grew into her style, she took influences from No Doubt, Avril Lavigne, and Fountains of Wayne. Deemed a “drum protege” by other professional musicians, her musical resume puts her amongst some of the music industry’s most seasoned veterans. She was able to study with rock legend Kenny Aronoff, drummer for many notable artists such as Alanis Morissette, among other famous and accomplished drummers. Gaining traction for her many talents, Morris has accumulated a large following on several social media platforms. With over 34K TikTok followers, nearly 24.8K Instagram followers, and 51K YouTube subscribers alongside 9+ million views on her videos, Mia Morris is nothing short of a rockstar.

Mia Morris reminds listeners that there’s more to life than feeding into pointless drama. “Melodramatic” is available to download and stream on digital platforms worldwide. To keep up with Mia’s musical journey, follow her on Instagram @miamorrismusic.
