Anna Graceman Releases Powerful Music Video, “Night Follows”

Songland Winner Drops Emotional New Music Video Following New Album

Nashville, TN – Soul-pop artist Anna Graceman has released her captivating music video for “Night Follows.” This vulnerable piano piece is accompanied by a stunning video that captures the emotional weight Graceman carried after being carjacked at gunpoint. The video is available on her YouTube channel.

Anna Graceman’s “Night Follows” video, co-directed by herself and Rachel Deeb, expresses the impact of a terrifying event on her life. “‘Night Follows’ was inspired by a traumatic experience I had,” she explains. “A large SUV drove down the street past me, turned around at the cul de sac, and then parked in the middle of the road next to me. Someone in a hoodie came up to my window and tapped a gun to the glass telling me to ‘get out of the car, babe.’” The video captures Graceman’s emotional journey in coming to terms with what she experienced. As she sings the powerful lyrics, “it won’t keep me awake,” Graceman stares into the camera showing the audience that overcoming this adversity has only left her stronger. The song allows her to voice that even though she has been able to process the effect of the carjacking on her life, the trauma of the event will always remain in the back of her mind. “After about a year of trying to write, I came up with the idea for “Night Follows.” It’s a metaphor for the fear and weight I still carry around from this experience. I’d written a verse, pre, and chorus before I brought it into a session with Henry Brill.” The video centering around her incredible vocals leaves the audience to connect Graceman’s impactful lyrics to their own experiences. “I’ve been able to channel my experience into a song. A song that will hopefully speak to others who have their own fears and struggles following them around. I’m still working through things. The things I’ve been through have continued to follow me, but will no longer keep me awake.” “Night Follows” showcases her talent both vocally and in songwriting through a vulnerable music video that leaves a significant impact on anyone who watches it.

Anna Graceman is a pop-soul artist originally from Juneau, Alaska. Her passion for music started at 18 months old, when she would sing with her mother, and further developed when she began piano lessons at the age of four. She also plays the guitar and bass. Vocally, Graceman is influenced by powerful female voices such as Adele and Amy Winehouse. Her songwriting takes inspiration from artists who tell stories through their lyrics, such as Harry Chapin.

Liam Mogan Releases Country Pop Single “Burn at Home”

Surfing Cowboy Pays Homage to the Staycation and Enjoying What You Have

Los Angeles, CA – Los Angeles-based pop/country artist, Liam Mogan, released his latest single, “Burn at Home,” a song about perspective and enjoying the little things in life. Country-infused lyrics tell a story about vacationing from the comfort of your home. The single is now available on all digital music platforms.

The fusion between country songwriting and chill Los Angeles production gives “Burn at Home” a feeling of nostalgia. The anthem encourages people to be content with what they have and to enjoy their time at home. Working full time in construction, Mogan says he uses nights and weekends to indulge in his passion for making music. Inspiration for the song came from life’s hecticness and how people feel the need to constantly be on the move. For Mogan, a cozy backyard date or a day in the sun with your home speakers blaring can be just as unique as an exotic vacation or fancy dinner. “Burn at Home” is a soon to be country-pop hit and is produced by Taylor Sparks, Mikal Blue (Colbie Caillat, One Republic, Jason Mraz), and Nate Lennox. The songwriting process was a collaboration between writers Alexa Michelle, Taylor Sparks, and Liam Mogan.

When Liam Mogan is not making waves in the Los Angeles music scene, this country-pop musician is catching waves in Malibu or riding his rescue horse, Tulsa – two passions of his that have affectionately dubbed him as the Surfing Cowboy. Mogan was inspired early on in his life by the Beach Boys, Alan Jackson and Hank Williams, getting hooked on the melodies and raw, honest songwriting. Working construction during the day and making music at night brings a humbled candor to the industry.

Honesty and nostalgia are the primary components in Liam Mogan’s music, resulting in a unique California pop-country sound that can be heard in the singles he released earlier this year, “False Hope” and “16”. His music is often compared to artists like Sam Hunt, Blake Shelton, and Dan & Shay. On stage, Mogan’s team includes players who have toured with some of the nation’s largest acts. His songwriting and dedicated fanbase have garnered himself opportunities to play on stages across California. His studio team consists of LA’s premier producers and songwriters from Capital, Sony, and Universal.

“Burn at Home” is now available for download and streaming on digital platforms worldwide.  For more information on Liam Mogan, keep up with him on Instagram and Facebook, @liammoganmusic, or by visiting his website at LiamMoganMusic.com.

Claire Ridgely Releases Pop Gem “Can We Be Friends?”

Indie Pop Artist Drops Eerily Upbeat Single

Los Angeles, CA — Indie pop artist Claire Ridgely has released her neon-hued single “Can We Be Friends?” Ridgely’s soulful and sweet vocals bolster authentic lyrics that share a deeply personal recollection of a traumatic childhood experience. She expertly spins this dark tale into a pop gem and inspires others to take back control in their own lives and let these traumatic experiences be just a chapter in their stories, not the whole book. “Can We Be Friends?” is now available to stream and download on digital music platforms worldwide.

Claire Ridgely’s single “Can We Be Friends?” is a raw and cautionary tale of the realities of being a girl in this world. “This song tells the story from my childhood, where I escaped a threatening interaction with an older man on my way home from school,” explains Ridgely. “Metaphorically, the song was therapeutic and allowed me the opportunity to work through this trauma. It’s a song that you can really dance to, and it feels so good to be able to dance to something that was once traumatic and heavy. I think listeners can take away the message of healing old wounds by finding ways to allow them to be a part of your story, but not your whole story.” The juxtaposition of the heavy lyrics with the vibrance and upbeat melody in the song captures the eerie and scary atmosphere of the situation: a typical, fun day for a child overshadowed by a dangerous threat. “Can We Be Friends?” became an outlet for Ridgely to process and heal while inspiring her listeners to do the same. “I use music as a form of expression and to tell stories that are important to me. I wanted to write about this subject as a way to give that experience new meaning and take power back. While this man tried to remove my power, writing this song was therapeutic and allowed me to control the narrative and give me back my voice,” she explains. “Can We Be Friends?” blends sweet pop sounds with Ridgely’s raw lyrics to deliver a powerful message of caution, courage, and optimism.

Claire Ridgely is a Montreal-based singer/songwriter originally from Northern Virginia. She has worked as a featured artist in the electronic music scene for several years, doing vocals for Said the Sky, Robotaki, and Pat Lok, among others. Ridgely is heavily inspired by growing up listening to her parents’ funk collection of Earth, Wind, and Fire and Chaka Khan, alongside singer-songwriters like James Taylor, John Mayer, and Kacey Musgraves, which can be heard in the intricacies of her production and vivid storytelling. Ridgely is now focusing her energy towards her solo career as an indie-pop sensation. She has released six singles since September 2018, which have been enthusiastically received by the likes of Billboard and Spotify. Ridgely is working hard from her collaborative home studio to complete her first EP, which will be released in the fall.

With intense and heavy lyrics and a contrasting bouncy pop sound, Claire Ridgely’s “Can We Be Friends?” is a bright pop anthem that inspires its audience to take control of their own lives and find hopefulness in the face of adversity. Download or stream “Can We Be Friends?” now on digital music platforms worldwide. To keep up with Claire Ridgely’s journey, you can follow her on Instagram @overtheridgely.

His intense vocals and vivid lyrics highlight the dark path this took him down. One of the most emotional songs off the album, “A Ghost I Knew From Yesterday,” responds to the betrayal he felt from toxic family members. A consistent theme throughout the EP is toxic family dynamics and English’s emotional turmoil that he deals with as a result of these traumatic experiences. Reggie Becton Releases “Rainin’ in LA” Music Video

Los Angeles Artist Brings Singing in the Rain Back to R&B with Captivating Visuals

Los Angeles, CA – R&B artist Reggie Becton brings captivating and cinematic visuals to his acclaimed single “Rainin’ In LA.”  With all the recent proclamations of ‘R&B being dead’ and male R&B artists not carrying the soulful torch of their predecessors, Becton uses this visual to pay homage to those who came before him, while also showing naysayers that R&B is still alive. Clearly he is one to watch and deserves a mention when discussing the R&B of today.  The video is now available on YouTube and you can stream the song on digital music platforms worldwide.

“When coming up with the treatment for the video, we knew without a doubt that Los Angeles had to be the backdrop,” explains Reggie Becton. “In the video, you see places in LA that are pieces of my reality: a Downtown Los Angeles skyline which is where I worked my first job, you get a glimpse of La Brea which is where I spend half my time just sitting in traffic and you get to experience what my home for the past two years looks like when you see The Jungles, a very historic neighborhood in LA.”  With Los Angeles as his inspiration, Becton delivered smooth and vibe-filled vocals with authentic scenic views of the city and places that were influential in his own life.

To bring Reggie Becton’s creative visuals to life, he collaborated with director WALU (21 Savage, Teyana Taylor, Tory Lanez, Lil Mama) “WALU was the only person I knew that could capture the essence of the song so well and I truly do not think anyone else could have done a better job” explains Becton. The strong cinematic visuals not only represent classic LA, but also are reminiscent of traditional R&B music videos with rooftop shots, vintage convertibles, love interests, and singing in the rain. In recent months, social media has been complaining about “how R&B wasn’t the same anymore because men don’t sing in the rain,” so I wanted to fix that problem, says Becton.  I really wanted to do something that paid homage to the great R&B artists that paved the way.” explains Becton.  Reggie has been able to masterfully combine the classic sound and vibe of traditional R&B with his fresh new wave sound.

Reggie Becton has continued to provide rich and dynamic vocals and striking visuals to his listeners.  Becton’s music has also been admired by publications such as EARMILK, Elevator Mag, Lyrical Lemonade, Singersroom, DJBooth and many more. He has collaborated and partnered with brands like Fender, Steereo, Sofar Sounds, YOU42, and COLORS R&B Only.  Becton has also co-written with artists at major labels like Atlantic Records and Warner Music.

With nostalgic references to classic R&B, as well as stunning locally-inspired visuals, Reggie Becton’s music video for “Rainin In LA” aims to bring authenticity and style to contemporary R&B. You can watch “Rainin In LA” now on YouTube and stream the song on music platforms worldwide. To keep up with Reggie Becton’s journey, follow him on Instagram @ReggieBecton.

Los Angeles, CA — Rising indie-pop duo, Ruby Red, deliver their aptly named single “Ozone,” a relaxing, yet vibrant track that takes listeners on a journey to the unknown. From inception, the tune immediately captures its audience as Ruby Red expresses the reality of growth via taking a chance in un-calm waters or cloudy skies. The atmospheric slides of guitar strings and melodic bass maintain the track’s exuberance from start to finish. “Ozone” is now available on digital music platforms worldwide.

The indie-pop duo comprised of Daniel Laner and Fernando Fine wanted to release a song not based on their personal feelings, but rather the feelings of the world. “With everything that’s going on, and with all this information floating about, it seems inevitable that ‘the times’ would make their way into some of our songs.” Laner explains that he always held a deep distaste for flying and in turn that hate became one of the inspirations for the single. “I couldn’t shake the feeling of being stuck in a sort of purgatory between the earth and the sky, and in that, the first line was born: ‘A long way to fall this time / Got even farther to climb.'” The duo manages to effortlessly encapsulate the wide range of emotions felt when embarking on a challenging road or discovering a new path.  “Most people have at least one of these moments in their life where they undergo this great, overwhelming migration from what they know and love into the unknown,” Fine explains.

Following the release of their critically acclaimed “Superbloom,” that was lauded by FLAUNT Magazine as “a song that is pungent with lust, like perfume filling a room,”  Ruby Red has teamed up Create Music Group for the release and distribution of “Ozone.” The dynamic publishing and distribution company headed by Jonathan Strauss and Alexndre Williams has built up an impressive roster of clientele since its inception in 2015, most notably championing the music of artists like Future, Lil Yachty, YNW Melly, 6ix9ine and countless others. Ruby Red’s relatable lyrical themes about the trials and tribulations of being young adults have already garnered them opportunities to play at such diverse Los Angeles venues as The Satellite, The Peppermint Club and  The Mint in addition to the partnership with CMG.

“Ozone” is a blissful and thought-provoking track that delves deeper into the unique lyricism and soundscapes that define Ruby Red. The single is now available for download and streaming on digital platforms worldwide. Follow along the band’s latest misadventures on Instagram @RubyRedSound.
