Arielle Silver Drops Hopeful Single “Headlights”

AAA/Americana Artist Pens Optimistic Single About Finding Your Way
Los Angeles, CA — AAA/Americana singer-songwriter, Arielle Silver releases her cheerful and rousing folk-pop single, “Headlights,” a charming, bright fusion of Americana indie-folk, featuring joyful mandolin, acoustic guitar, galloping piano, organ, bass, percussion, and drums.  Silver’s rich, expressive alto voice frames the expansive melody that echoes the American heartland, backed by harmonies from producer, Shane Alexander. In the uncertainty of the current global health and economic crisis, Silver’s playful band spotlights her optimistic message to have faith in finding your way through the twists of life. “Headlights” is now available to stream and download on digital music platforms worldwide.

Arielle Silver’s “Headlights” is a heart-lifting song about trusting the process of the journey, even when life takes dark or unpredictable turns.  “When I sing this song, I think of growing up,” Silver explains, “and how to get home we’d have to drive up the mountain along those twisty, sometimes slick with rain or snow, roads.”  The warm memories of her hometown emanates from her bright and airy vocals.  “When I wrote ‘Headlights’ I was thinking of what the novelist, E.L. Doctorow said about how writing a book is like following your headlights in the fog. Living is like that, too. We feel it when we graduate high school and head off on a new adventure. We feel it when we return home, changed and still works-in-process. And we see it particularly now in the COVID-19 crisis. In this heightened global uncertainty, many of us can’t envision even a season into the future. This is a song about times like this. Even if we can’t see the whole way, if we can find some light to illuminate a piece of the road ahead, we’ll find our way through.”

Despite unknown obstacles that are thrown at us throughout life, Silver finds a way to remain a ray of sunshine and inspire others to have faith in the unknown. Her tenacity and sincere positivity light up the room.  Silver’s voice can carry you through hard times and her lyrics inspire the audience to trust themselves and their own ambitions. The buoyant song was tracked by Michael Gehring at Secret World Studios, and mixed and mastered by GRAMMY-winners Brian Yaskulka and Hans DeKline, respectively.

Ten years ago, with three well-received releases accompanied by national tours, Arielle Silver lost sight of her future as an artist. “Though my heart still ached to write songs and sing, I found that I couldn’t do it,” she recalls. She put away her guitar, moved to Los Angeles, and landed a job behind the scenes in the music industry. She penned and published essays and poems, and was nominated for the Pushcart Prize and Best New Poets.  In 2018, Silver fell back in love with songwriting and began to perform and create music again.

Arielle Silver’s new single draws on authentic and honest experiences from her own twisting journey through life.  “Headlights” hopes to inspire people to follow and trust in the light — wherever they may find it — when the long road appears unclear. The song is now available to stream and download on digital music platforms worldwide. Stay up to date by visiting ArielleSilverMusic.com.

Katrina Cain’s inspiration comes from her complex frustration of the expectations of her as a female artist.  “When I started writing the lyrics for “How Did We Get Here?,” I realized that I was really thinking about all of the opinions in the music industry I’ve heard about myself, and about women in the industry in general,” Cain explains.  “It seems like everyone wants me to be what I’m not, and when I try to stand up for myself, people tell me I’m wrong.” Cain finds a way to stand up for herself as a woman in the industry and the stereotypical assumptions that follow.  “I wrote this song as a sort of ‘breakup’ song to all of the expectations other people had set for me, and the incorrect assumptions that they refused to let go of,” she explains. Cain reflects on the emotional relationship between herself and what others expect of her.  She breaks through those limitations, with compelling and captivating lyrics and an uplifting tone.  The producer of the song, Andrew McMillan, is also Cain’s spouse.  Their collaboration explains how the authentic lyrics she is able to express seamlessly blend with the down-tempo pop beat.

Nadia Vaeh Promotes Female Empowerment with New Single “Monroe”

Pop Artist Releases Song in Honor of Women’s History Month

Los Angeles, CA — Pop artist, Nadia Vaeh has released an empowering new single, “Monroe.” A true pop anthem that will resonate with women around the world, “Monroe” pays homage to the female icons such as Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Taylor Swift, Britney Spears, Meryl Streep, Celine Dion and more. The single is available for streaming and download on digital music platforms worldwide.

Produced by Dion Shaw and co-produced by Tyler Spratt, “Monroe” is an alluring pop song that focuses on women’s empowerment and the positive outcomes that can result when women support each other. “I wanted to write a song paying tribute to many of the women who have influenced me as an artist, entertainer, and woman. “Monroe” to me is about being confident in yourself and working to uplift and inspire other women,” explained Vaeh. “We all have room to shine and when we allow that light to flow through, we can create space for others to do the same.” Humble and ambitious in her goals for the song, Vaeh hits the mark with “Monroe.” Marilyn Monroe is just one of the many iconic female role models that Vaeh name drops on the track but was ultimately given the song title. “Marilyn Monroe, I believe, was very much a pioneer in shifting how women have been portrayed since the beginnings of cinema. I feel like she existed in a very confusing time and was highly misunderstood. She spearheaded a different sort of self-expression for women in the public eye. She was bold and fearless.” Vaeh too is bold and fearless. Uplifting piano and drums create an epic and catchy ballad for Vaeh to sing her heart out to, and audiences can’t help but sing along.

The Atlanta native’s love of music started at just two years old. Her American mother and Lebanese father nurtured that love when they placed her in a traveling youth-choir. Her mother, a poet, has an especially important influence on Vaeh developing her lyricism and language. When she tragically lost her mother to suicide at just seventeen years old, the young artist’s course was forever shifted. She stopped making music, left her high-school band, and started down a path of self-destructive behaviors and self-sabotage. When she finally returned to music, she was desperately searching for anything that could help her deal with the heartbreak. With relentless resilience and perseverance, Nadia Vaeh has grown into the artist and performer she is today. Her journey is not only self-healing though, as she seeks to inspire those around the world with her pop music. As she put it, “I would rather focus on uplifting and advocating for a worthy cause than on just catchy lyrics and melodies. I am particularly drawn to pop as these ‘ear-worms’ do have such a powerful ability to create positive shifts in the world around us.”

Nadia Vaeh’s words aim to encourage women to embrace their own strengths and live in their truth to follow their dreams. It is apparent upon hearing the song that Vaeh is very passionate about empowering women. Proceeds of the song will be donated to GirlUp, a United Nations Foundation dedicated to advancing girls’ skills, rights, and opportunities to be leaders and to inspire a generation of girls to be a force for gender equality and social change. Josh Lambert Drops Alternative Rock Single “On and On”

Native Bay Area Musician Transcends Genres in 2020

Los Angeles, CA — Musician Josh Lambert has released his new track, “On and On,” an alternative rock-influenced track that expresses the struggle of heartbreak and the hopefulness in recovery.  Lambert combines his authentic lyrics and melancholic tone with an upbeat and catchy rhythm, making this track very engaging and relatable to the listener. The track is produced by Fantom with an easy and mellow beach town inspired guitar and steady upbeat bass and drum.  “On and On” is now available to stream and download on digital music platforms worldwide.

Bay Area native Josh Lambert explores his alternative rock side of music with this new track that deviates from his hip-hop and trap-influenced single, “Saturday Girl.” The new single, “On and On” also takes some inspiration from the “emo-rap” genre; it’s almost anti-genre — hard to label and impossible not to like. “I never want to be limited by genre. ‘On and On’ is my first single of 2020 in the alternative realm and it feels more authentic. I will continue to make different genres of music, but the style of this one feels right,” Lambert explains. Lambert is not letting genres limit him and has hit his stride with this alternative track.  His shift into the alternative realm has exhibited his diversity in tone and lyrics. He reflects on the trial and tribulations of love and heartbreak while providing a hopeful silver lining to his audience. “On and On” is a personal reflection of heartbreak and learning how to overcome it. When vices and manipulation negatively affect a relationship, it is important to move past them and not let them get to you,” and “to not let the little things in life get to you. Sometimes when negative events occur, people let it eat at them and it kills their confidence. I learned to not let anything affect me in the long run and to keep my head high,” Lambert explains.  “On and On” blends Lambert’s raw and optimistic lyrics of heartbreak and recovery that his audience can relate to, with a mellow and upbeat rhythm that’ll make you bob your head to the beat.

Reggie Becton Delivers Powerful Visuals for “Y.O.U”

R&B Artist Releases Captivating Music Video

Los Angeles, CA — Maryland-bred R&B artist, Reggie Becton delivers thought-provoking visuals for his track “Y.O.U,” off of his latest project My Beanie’s Orange. Influenced by a dramatic romantic-thriller series, Becton takes on the role of a scorned man whose jilted ego spirals out of control, leading him to the point of no return. Beyond the scope of the song, the video takes on much greater meaning, as it dares us to ask an important question about race and the acceptable norms in society. The video is now available on YouTube.com and you can stream the song on digital music platforms worldwide.

The concept derived from the hit Netflix show YOU, starring Penn Badgley, explores the inner conflict of an obsessive lover so consumed by control it leads him to remove anyone in his path. The visual for “Y.O.U” also dares us to explore the notion that in our current society, black artists are not extended the same creative freedom as most. Becton explains how he struggled with the perception this music video would give, as well as the impact it would have on the black community. “When coming up with the treatment for this, we spent hours on hours just talking through would it even be ok or well-received to create such a visual.” That is a  strange thing to have to wonder when Penn Badgely’s character, “Joe,” has been infamously praised and lusted after despite being an obsessive and violent serial killer. Becton went on to share, “We are forced to be more cautious when playing characters of extremities because that has been perpetuated so much in the media.” Becton is no doubt determined to tear down those barriers, brick by brick.

Directed by Fred Leach and shot by Moy, “Y.O.U” was filmed at various locations throughout Los Angeles, like Gardena and Dockweiler State Beach adding an LA-Noire perspective to the visuals.  From releasing his well-received single “Rainin’ in LA,” to dropping his noteworthy EP, My Beanie’s Orange, Reggie Becton has continued to provide his listeners with unfiltered passion and honest perspectives of emotion. After selling out a headlining show in Washington, DC, Becton has gone on to be featured by publications such as Elevator Magazine, Singersroom, and EARMILK. The latter praised his music, saying, “Becton’s voice and songwriting truly shine through from start to finish. His raw, soul-infused tone gives you that classic R&B vibe that is so cherished.” Becton has also collaborated with brands like Fender, Stereo and COLORS R&B Only.

“Y.O.U” serves up stunning aesthetics, great music and makes you think about more than what’s laid out in front of you. You can watch “Y.O.U” now on YouTube and stream the song on music platforms worldwide. To keep up with Reggie Becton’s journey to the top, you can follow him on Instagram @ReggieBecton.

Cain’s honesty is palpable in the purity of her voice, and entices listeners to hear her story. The single is now available on digital music platforms worldwide.

The inspiration for this song derives from intense and complex emotions. “This song is about making up with your partner after a huge fight,” Cain explains. “It’s not about resolving the fight, but about the feeling that you’d rather say you’re sorry than fight more just to prove your point.
